It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Advanced Learning Schools.  Let me tell you a little about myself.  My title is Superintendent and I am responsible for all that happens in the life of our school.  I lead a team of Principals, Managers and Coordinators who help me in this complex task.

My home is in Scotland but my family and I have lived in five different countries since 1983.  From then till now I have worked in international schools, the first twenty-three years as a teacher, coordinator and Head of English and for the last fourteen years as an Administrator.  Our two children graduated with IB Diplomas from International School Manila. Our daughter and her family live in Scotland. our son and his family live in Singapore.

Advanced Learning Schools in the first to be authorised in three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes in Riyadh.

We are now working both to develop and improve the delivery of all three programmes and to live up to the high expectations of our accrediting institution, the Council of International Schools (CIS).

The whole ALS community is looking forward to the move to our purpose-built, new campus, designed for 1200 students
